President's Day!!

In preparing for Presidents' Day I created a mini unit. We will be using this mini unit to research about Washington and Lincoln. Students will obtain facts about both presidents by reading the passages I created and organizing what they learned on the organizers. I can't wait to see what my students learn and how their projects come out.... I will post about the adventure in the following days....

Up to..Science

I have been very busy and have not been posting. This school year has been wonderful so far, I have a great group of kids.
Today I would like to share a science activity that my students loved!!! We studied salt and fresh water and explored their properties through an exciting experiment.

Currently-January!!!

   Linking up with Farley @ Oh' Boy 4th Grade for the first "Currently" of the new year. Winter is one of my favorite seasons but with the temperature we had today, I must say I am rethinking it..Lol. I am excited to start a new year...I wonder what I will be blessed with this year.

GIVE AWAY

I am very excited to have completed my Spanish Prefix Pack. This pack consist of 4 fun games that will help students learn the meaning of several Spanish prefixes. The games are: 

1) distinguish the prefix from the base word

2) use puzzle pieces to make words with prefixes

3) spin a prefix and identify if you made a word and

4) identify which word goes in the sentence.

Starting to feel more like winter...

The week after our Thanksgiving break students will start writing poetry.  I created a circle map and final draft sheet for their Winter acrostic poem. Not only is it in Spanish and English but it's also FREE! I would appreciate some loving(following) on my newly started TpT store!!
